Lexi’s POV
“So, I’m your beloved?” I asked, grinning at the man in front of me. His features were back to his usual relaxed self, although his red eyes looked ready to burn into my soul. “Do I get a say in the matter?” I teased him, placing my arms around his neck and enjoyed holding him close to me again.
“Erm,” he shrugged, suddenly looking rather guilty. “Please?”
He flashed me one of his school-boy grins and – by some weird miracle – he blushed!
My jaw literally fell open.
He. Blushed!
“I don’t get you, Landon Stone,” I laughed and shook my head. “You just ripped a man to pieces – total hardcore berserker style – but you can smile and blush like a 13-year-old freckled choir-boy!” I looked up at him. “How do you do it?”
