He finished helping her get ready for work and they walked out the door with breakfast and coffee in hand. He looked over at her and smiled, she just looked at him, shook her head and kissed him before walking towards the door for work when he came running after her for one last kiss... or she thought… He lunged at her neck full force and sank his teeth into her neck as far as he could and nearly sucked her dry until he had no choice to stop.
He noticed that her boss was approaching so he quickly gave her some of his blood and passed it off as she had a dizzy spell and passed out at the door. So the boss told him to bring her home for the night and if she isn’t better by tomorrow take her to the hospital. He wasn’t going to not pay her but he’ll put it in for sick time. So Kyle did what her boss instructed and brought her home.
Upon him bringing her home he had called and canceled all of his meetings for his company. Once she came to, she panicked not knowing that her boss told Kyle to bring her home to rest. Kyle jumped right up when he saw her trying to stand. She pulled away from him demanding answers in which he replied with “ As you should have figured out from last night…” he looked away with a devilish smile then back at her continuing what he was saying “ I’m a vampiric demon and the reason why I went after you this morning isn’t because I wanted to, I had to or otherwise you were going to be killed by my elders. I did it because I love you and don’t want to ever lose you.” She looked at him with the biggest “REALLY DUDE! I DON’T BELIEVE YOU!” look in her eyes.
All of a sudden, there was a knock on the door and before he could stop her she got up and opened the door only to see a beautiful set of twins, one girl and one boy asking for Kyle so she let them in and led them to the living den where he was sitting. He almost immediately jumped up at the sight of the twins. She just looked at him curious until he asked the twins “Lil’ bro and sis what are you doing here?” then she was shocked. Before she could ask questions, the brother answered with a simple “hello to you too.” and an eye roll. His sister introduced herself looking at her “ Hello, my name is Sarah, I’ve so much about you! And do ignore Mikal, he and Kyle haven’t agreed with each other ever since…..” “SHUT UP!!!!” both the boys hollered.
