58 As Jacobsen strikes down with the pole, I roll to my right. The pair of us tumble over the side. I fall a level but catch hold of a rail. I swing and slam into the scaffolding. Jacobsen falls and spins all the way to the ground. He splats against a studio road, the pole bouncing and clanging and rolling to a stop a few yards away. Bollocks. I almost had the answers I wanted. But if anyone asks, he fell. With no platforms and ladders along this side of the scaffold, I climb down the outside of the structure. Slow and steady.
