I was dumbfounded as one of the warriors led me into a huge room with a large bed and two dark couches. The room had a large balcony and an incredible view.

"Miss, I have been sent to heal your wounds," a sudden voice made me shake my head.

I sat in silence while the woman told me to lie down on the bed. She immediately began to cut my dress and wash my wounds.

"I need to sedate her to continue" she announced.

At first I was afraid, after all, I didn't want to be unprotected, but I needed to heal as soon as possible and get back to work. At that alone I gave in, and the woman gave me a bottle with a strange drink.

I don't know at what moment I fell asleep, but a disturbing glow made me open my eyes with a jolt. I quickly looked down at my chest and was perplexed: there wasn't a single wound, not even a scar!

But what the hell had happened? I had no accelerated healing ability. Without thinking any more, I got out of bed and scanned everything around me. However, when I was about to go to the door, it opened, making me step back.

"Who are you?" I asked when I saw a tall, white-haired woman.

She entered the room with a slight smile, while her eyes were reddened. "Oh, my goddess, you have awakened!" she said,

She took a step towards me, trying to hug me, but I pulled back again as my hands trembled.

"But what manners of mine! Darling, don't be afraid. I am Anaïs, I am your mother..." she said.

When I heard her, my eyes went wide. At first I shook my head not believing her, but when my eyes cleared, I was perplexed.

In fact, when I took a good look at her, I noticed that her eyes were exactly identical to mine.

"You... you're my mother?" I stammered.

I wanted to ask the woman so many questions, but before I could say anything, she spoke again "Yes. I know you have so many questions to ask me. I swear, honey, I never meant to leave you in those woods" she hinted with tears running down her cheeks.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused.

She walked over to the bed and motioned for me to sit next to her. With a sigh I walked over and sat down, feeling her take my hands in hers.

"I don't have much time, but I have to tell you that you are no ordinary she-wolf. You are the closest bloodline to the moon goddess. I had to leave you in that cave to protect you. Many bad men, even witches and vampires, wanted to kill you to steal your blood and increase their power" she said.

Each of her words surprised me even more. It all made sense. My wolf was different from the rest. Even more powerful. I always thought it was just a curse from the moon goddess.

"I know this all sounds strange, my child. But your time is running out. You need to find a great alpha as soon as possible" She hinted caressing my hand.

I didn't have time to ask, when she let out a sigh, got up from the bed and held out her hand to me "Come with me, you'll get your answers".

I didn't even hesitate when I took her hand and followed her steps into the dense forest, where a veil of white mist began to descend under my feet making me feel a huge shiver.

"What's going on?" I asked in fear.

She just let out a faint smile, and taking a step towards a small clear field, she raised her hands and closed her eyes while reciting an incantation in a strange language.

I couldn't even ask once more when, suddenly, a howl was heard through the white mist, and I saw a blinding light forming out of the mist

"That's the power of your wolf. We have been guarding it for your arrival. But you won't be able to master it until you find a powerful alpha, who will help you develop your abilities" she said without even looking at me.

I shook my head trying to understand what was going on. I didn't know how to master my strength nor did I understand why the moon goddess had given me Wallas as a mate, if there was another male with the bond.

"Go and take your power. Honey, I know you will find your alpha and you will make it" she hinted giving me a little push on my back.

My legs were shaking as I slowly approached the light that floated like a glowing ball. But what the f**k? I wanted to stop, but my body lost the link to my voice.

I just walked into the fog and reaching out my hand I felt the glowing ball burn my hand.

In a second, a strong current spread from my hands to my body causing me severe pain.

"Ahh! It hurts so much!" I screamed with all my might as I felt all my bones breaking.

Everything around me started to spin and suddenly I felt my body hit the hard ground.

A sharp pain shot through my body as I opened my eyes again, was it just a dream?

However, before I could make a move, my she-wolf started jumping up and down in excitement, "f**k, f**k, f**k, Onyx... That was not a dream. That wasn't a dream, that was the moon goddess!!!" She said.

When I heard her, I was stunned. In fact, I had woken up in the same room where the woman had healed me, yet the strange scent of my mother was still in the room.

"Don't worry about it. Alpha took care of the culprits. She even demoted the boss from her position" Anmary announced with an excited smile.

At her answer, a surge of emotion crossed my body. But just at that moment an idea popped into my head.

"Anmary, is Alpha always this dangerous? " I asked with a raised eyebrow.

Anmary didn't even waste a second to start telling me all about Bicker. The man was not only a sexy god, but he was also acclaimed by all the members of his pack and even by other packs, who used to hail him as the future king.

"The bad thing is that he always possesses that dominant aura that doesn't let us get close... " hinted Anmary with a confused grimace.

After almost an hour of talking, we both left the room. My body was full of pain, but now there was a new goal: to convince Bicker to help me with my power.

Even after Anmary told me that all the she-wolves in his pack were in love with him, I was stunned when he told me that some of them had even tried to drug Bicker to f**k them and get them pregnant.
