Luncheon was a lot more interesting than Primrose had anticipated. There were so many undercurrents around the table that it was difficult to keep track of them all. She could only concentrate on one person at a time. She dismissed Mrs. Middleton-Murray as unimportant, and Lord and Lady Cheevers and their daughter, ditto.
