I swung the door open to the Chief of Finance Office and found Mrs. Riego sitting on the swivel chair playing with her cube again.
“Ma’am? Good Morning”, she looked on my way and a smile immediately crept on her face.
“Ahhh, Katie. You came in just in time”, she said smiling and turning the clock on my way that read 8:00.
“I’ve got a month vacation to Netherlands waiting for me after I get out of this building, hayyy”, she said old way and stood on her swivel chair and brought her bag swung on her arm.
“Enjoy your years on this desk. And just chill on the office, look at me! I’ve spent my 30 years trying to solve this cube and I’ve just solved the first layer”, I laughed as I saw her tossing the cube. A really big cube!
