I did not answer her and opened the fridge to find some food and set the table but she took the plates herself and the food.
"I'll do it", she said smiling and quickly set the table.
"W-what's with you? You never set the table for dinner?", she said all smiling.
"I just got to Katie to give her almonds. It is her favorite", her smiled dropped and stared at the ceiling trying to hold back her tears.
I sat on one of the chairs and placed a spoonful of rice on her plate. She looked quiet stunned for some moments and then she had her big smile again while eating.
