I ended the call and then continued to look for the towel as I forgot where I got it and found it on the bathroom, so I took a bath straight for an hour. I took a very long time when showering as I want my body fully contented with water when I turn the shower off. I like showering water on my face without breathing as I felt like huge ice was inside my brain and it was freezing my head for a moment. The thought is you stop thinking when you freeze, so I was hoping I'd experience a moment where I just live my life without worrying about anything.
I turned the faucet dead and twisted my hair so the remaining water fell and then grabbed the towel straight to the closet.
I looked on a black Billie Eilish oversized t-shirt and took on shorts. I swear I'm a big fan of Billie Eilish. All the lyrics in her song seemed comforting to me. It felt right. Like it was encouraging someone to cry when you're hurt, feel that you're hurt but not to the point you'd hurt yourself because you were consumed by it. I combed my hair and was about to close the closet when I heard a clanking noise from downstairs. I looked at my door to see if it was locked and it was. I moved closer to the wall and paid attention. It looked like someone was doing something with my things downstairs. I slowly opened the door, preventing any decibel of sound, and took my slippers off before making my way downstairs as their flips create light sounds-light but something you can still hear so not safe. I followed the noise and it led my feet to the kitchen. My eyes wandered as I hid in the cabinet for something that I could use to attack and then my eyes landed on a- CAN?!
WHY DO I ALWAYS END UP WITH A CAN?
Confused, I still picked it up and it was like a size of a tennis ball. Right, I bought some canned milk at the convenience store as I was planning to add it to a melted chocolate and make a smoothie. MYSTERY SOLVED! I kneeled and then struck the can on the cabinet next to the man. It created a clinking sound that drew his attention to it before I ran to him and then put my bended knee on his back and then grabbed both his hands and then pulled them towards me. His back was facing at me, so I was pulling his arms backwards. I could picture his position on a slight side view and he would look like a standing sea lion.
"You messed up on the wrong house, dude. Don't have treasures here", I said, and pulled his arms more as I landed my eyes on his pants.
"Oh? Why do these pants look so familiar?", I said, letting his arms go and placing my right hand on my waist while my left hand was pointing at his familiar pants. He turned around facing me and I looked to see who he was before smiling so wide and jumped to hug him.
"Aliiii!", he hugged me on my waist to support me as well, while groaning in pain because of his stretched arms-far too stretched.
"You failed to lock the door. Good thing you know self-defense", he said while he took another apron and caged me inside it.
"I failed to lock the door? I remember locking it though?", I said and scratched my head in confusion.
"Who cares about locking the door? You'll kill everyone who thinks about breaking in", he said and laughed. I just smiled and then looked at what he was doing so loudly in the kitchen and realized he was baking. A smile spread widely through my face.
"Well, what are you baking?", and made my way to the table. He was mixing flour and other ingredients at the moment. I always feel happy and excited whenever Ali is baking as I guarantee whenever he bakes, the pastry would always taste good and new!
"It's a lasagna but im'ma try to make it chocolate flavored. And I took some of your chocolates in the fridge", he said and then poured liquidized nutella chocolate unto the flour mixture and whisked it again.
"Lasagna? Chocolate?", my eyes twinkled at the sound of it. I've never seen a lasagna dripping with chocolate! I never felt anger with him using my chocolates as the idea of the pastry felt so appealing to me!
"Hurry!", as I said flipping my hands so fast that he just chuckled and then turned the stove on and placed the pan in it.
"Can you hand me the butter?", he said and I took it from the table. Looks like he bought the ingredients himself. Well except for the chocolate.
"Here. Is it your day-off?", I asked handing him the box of butter.
"No, It's more like a rest day". I paused and looked at him while he just smiled and scooped the exact amount of butter and smeared it unto the pan. He grabbed the batter and poured a very tiny amount of it unto the pan.
"Ali? What am I gonna eat if you make it that thin?", I said pointing on the dough that's spreading into the pan
"It's a lasagna. It's gonna be thick later when we pile lots of them layer by layer"
"It's as thin as a sheet. Should we name it shitty lasagna?", he stopped what he was doing and stared at me before letting out a sigh.
"You really need to speak without cussing", he said while pointing me.
"I'm not cussing okay, that's not how it's meant. It's a name! Thin as a sheet so let's name it-
"Chocolate Lasagna", he said cutting me off and smiled.
"Shitty Lasagna", he frowned.
"Chocolate Lasagna"
"Shitty Lasagna!"
"This is my menu, my name wins!"
"This is my kitchen, so this is Shitty Lasagna!", I said while pointing at the pan. We both stopped and then stared at each other horrified while looking at the burnt sheet.
"s**t!", he said and turned the stove off.
"Shitty Lasagna it is then!", I told him and took a sit and gave him the kitchen to finish what he was doing.
"Cut the berries before I cut your tongue", he said not dare to give me a look but I rolled my tongue so he can't cut them if he dares.
We ate them and it tasted s**t! I mean SWEET! I've never tasted such a sweet lasagna before! We washed my laundry together-well not together. He washed them all, I just ate the lasagna while watching him do it. He left the afternoon that day because he still has to go to practice tomorrow morning but we spent every minute that day laughing so he said I have something to take with me when I return home. HAPPINESS! He said he might not be able to visit me again until I leave but I just have to call him if I need a hand.
I waved at him as he entered the car and started the engine. We both went on our own ways. Him to the road and me to the house. I went to the table and sliced a big square of the lasagna and sat on the couch while taking my phone and took a picture of it before taking the biggest bite only to feel the pain as the sweet chocolate stuck on the tiny hole of my tooth.
And because I have 3 days left I decided to look for ways to find him in London. This city is big, I need to find his exact address but he's too private that I might need a day to track his address so I decided I'll start finding him tomorrow. I need to take a rest first because these day was surely tiring! I felt I've grind pounds of fats in my belly from laughing straight for 8 hours!
