Owen “You piece of sh*t traitor!”, Vanessa screams when she sees Katherine in the prison cell. Katherine raises her head from the concrete floor and looks Vanessa dead in the eye before turning away again. Vanessa and her mate are each tossed into separate cells. “Um, Beta? Being here is… difficult. May I go, sir?”, Alex mumbles. Owen swings his head back and forth between Katherine and Alex before shaking his head. “No. Let’s finish this”, he says darkly. “Release him, Katherine”, Owen commands in his Beta voice.
