Chapter 5: Chapter Five: This Young Master Is Still a Minor
The plump woman was still rambling on, when Winfred Bessemer, with one hand holding the little dumpling, swiftly grabbed Atwood Judith's arms hanging by his sides and twisted them a couple of times.
"You! Don't come any closer!" Atwood Judith, greatly alarmed, raised both arms in defense.
Gemma Bessemer's big eyes twinkled mischievously, but her face appeared innocent and pure. "Auntie Fat is lying! That uncle's hands can clearly move!"
The crowd's disdainful looks towards the couple grew even more pronounced. Initially, they thought the young man had been too rough, but it turned out the man was just faking it!
"I, I really couldn't move my hands just now!" Atwood Judith desperately tried to explain to the whispering crowd, but no one believed him.
"Mr. Austen, your injuries will be professionally assessed. If it turns out you were indeed seriously injured as you claim, I will certainly compensate you according to the rules. But if..."
Channing Bessemer's handsome face remained unchanged, but his tone was as cold as frost.
"If you are deliberately framing us, my brother is still a minor, and his heart is very fragile... Also, the entire process of your wife threatening an unarmed baby with a hanger was captured by the surveillance cameras."
Gemma Bessemer ground her teeth in anger. So, this guy had seen her being bullied from the start!
He was ruthless to others, but even more so to his own sister!
The little dumpling's fierce yet adorable expression made Channing Bessemer smile inwardly, the corners of his lips curling up slightly.
Atwood Judith, recalling his threat to ruin Winfred Bessemer and send him to prison, felt like he had fallen into an ice cellar, his face turning ashen.
As Winfred Bessemer passed by Atwood Judith, he smirked and added, "Didn't expect it, did you? I'm only seventeen years old."
The plump woman wanted to say something, but Atwood Judith pulled her aside and whispered a few words to her. After learning about Channing Bessemer's illustrious achievements, she finally realized the severity of the situation. Her earlier arrogance vanished, and she trembled as she bowed to him.
"I, I'm sorry, Mr. Bessemer, we were blind and didn't know that this talented young man and this adorable little girl are your siblings."
"Mrs. Austen, you didn't insult me by saying I have a mother who gave birth to me but not one who raised me, so why are you apologizing to me?" Channing Bessemer frowned, lifting his eyelids in displeasure.
The plump woman's face turned red and green, and she hurriedly pulled her daughter to bow to Winfred Bessemer and Gemma Bessemer. "I'm sorry, Miss Xia, Young Master!"
The little dumpling ignored her apology and, with a soft and cute voice, turned to her third brother. "Can I try on clothes now?"
The plump woman immediately stepped forward, fawning. "Miss Xia, whichever set you like, Auntie will buy it for you as an apology!"
"Didn't you just say I'm a little beggar and don't deserve to enter such a*****e?"
"We are the ones who are unworthy!" The plump woman shivered, her legs trembling.
Atwood Judith glared at his wife. "One set is not enough! Miss Xia is so adorable; anything she wears will look good. Whatever you like, Uncle and Auntie will buy for you!"
"Yes, yes, and this princess dress, only you deserve to wear it!" The plump woman held up the princess dress she had snatched earlier, smiling awkwardly.
"Ew... It's been touched and is dirty, I don't want it."
The little dumpling glanced at Channing Bessemer, as if asking, "Is it okay to be picky like this?"
Winfred Bessemer burst into laughter, and even Channing Bessemer couldn't help but smile. This little one's knack for making people uncomfortable was quite like his own.
Channing Bessemer, increasingly fond of the little dumpling, took out his black card and handed it to the saleswoman who had stood up for the little dumpling. "Buy everything except this one."
"!"
Gemma Bessemer's eyes lit up, and her previous resentment towards Channing Bessemer for standing idly by vanished. She sweetly said, "Channing is so nice~ mua!"
Seeing the little dumpling's greed for money, Winfred Bessemer fell into deep thought. Should he also work hard to earn money, so he could buy pretty dresses for his adorable little sister in the future?
"Goodbye, pretty sister~"
After packing all the clothes, Gemma Bessemer extended her little chubby hand and blew a kiss to the saleswoman. Her cuteness made Winfred Bessemer pinch her soft, white cheeks.
Ah, what a sensible and adorable little sister!
"Um... Channing, I have something to take care of, you take her home first."
Handing the little dumpling over to Channing Bessemer, Winfred Bessemer watched as the Liu family fled, a hint of coldness flashing in his eyes.
Channing Bessemer's eyes flickered, and a faint smile crossed his lips. "I remember the surveillance camera in the lower left corner of the second basement floor is broken."
"Got it!" Winfred Bessemer gave him a thumbs-up and disappeared in a flash.
When Channing Bessemer returned to the Xia family villa with the little dumpling, he saw a new nanny car in the garage. Standing next to it was a tall, handsome man wearing sunglasses. He was dressed in a camel-colored coat, with the collar of his white shirt slightly open, his long hair tied up high, revealing a firm, fair complexion. His long legs were crossed, and he looked like a fashion model just standing there.
"Wow~ So handsome!"
Gemma Bessemer secretly drooled over her long-haired, beautiful second brother, Murphy Bessemer.
"Channing, where did this country bumpkin come from?" Murphy Bessemer removed his sunglasses, frowning in displeasure.
"This is our fifth sister, Gemma Bessemer." Channing Bessemer lifted the little dumpling in his hand.
For a moment, Murphy Bessemer thought he had heard wrong. He had only been away for two months, and now there was a new sister?!
"Hello, Murphy~"
The little dumpling waved her small hand, her two little pigtails swaying back and forth.
Murphy Bessemer covered his face in agony and suddenly blurted out, "It's crooked."
"Huh?" Gemma Bessemer tilted her head innocently, looking confused.
"Ahhh!"
Murphy Bessemer, suppressing his inner frustration, threw down his sunglasses and took off the little pigtails on the little dumpling's head.
"?"
Gemma Bessemer widened her eyes in confusion, wondering what this cheap second brother was up to.
"It's really crooked!"
Murphy Bessemer muttered, retying the pigtails. The parting was straight, the positions symmetrical, with no stray hairs left behind.
Satisfied, Murphy Bessemer sighed in relief. However, before he could relax, he noticed that the little dumpling's clothes were covered in cookie crumbs, her sleeves rolled up unevenly, and one of her pink shoes was missing a butterfly decoration from the earlier scuffle!
Murphy Bessemer's forehead veins throbbed, and he couldn't stand it anymore. He took out his phone and dialed a number.
"Tony, give me ten minutes! Bring your whole team to my house!"
"Hey~ What's wrong with our movie star today? No schedule?"
"I! NEED! TO! CLEAN! UP! A! MESS!"
Murphy Bessemer hung up the phone furiously, staring at the little dumpling gnawing on her hand in his big brother's arms as if facing a formidable enemy.
