Chapter 15: Chapter Fifteen: Heading to the Company
Assistant was already waiting outside the villa with the car, standing respectfully by the car door for Frederic Bessemer's arrival.
From a distance, Gemma Bessemer waved at Assistant and called out in her childish voice, "Good morning, Uncle Chen."
Being greeted so adorably early in the morning, Assistant's heart melted, and he cheerfully returned the greeting, "Good morning, Little Miss!"
Then, he quickly composed himself, opened the rear car door, and addressed Frederic Bessemer, "Good morning, President."
With a stern face, Frederic Bessemer nodded, picked up Gemma Bessemer, and swiftly placed her inside the car.
Gemma Bessemer, who had been handled rather roughly, was speechless for a moment but quickly sat down obediently.
