The poems of thorns

Mama Bear

mama bears are supposed to keep their cubs warm

for they are supposed to protect their cubs 

but not all mama bears are the same 

they nurture but do not love 

they say you are wanted 

but help mak you feel unwanted 

so this is to my mama bear 

thank you for puttung me in a cave 

but  you were wrong to bring strays in 

thank you for teaching me to hunt 

but your ways arent promised 

for the way you thought me is not how i shall teach my cubs 

mama bear do not fear my love 

for that is true 

but your the love you have for me 

is the question 

you loved other cubs and put their needs before mine 

but they didnt come from you like i 

so why was i at the end of the stick

my words didnt stick with you 

for your disbelief in them 

wounds me 

dear mama bear 

for once in my life have your attention for me 

mama bear you were rough 

when i needed you to be gentle 

so tell me please what will make you happy 

i have sweat through my coat 

and i have bled 

but it seems as if though you mama bear are not enough for me nor i you 

(if anyone of you struggle with your mothers i emplore you to find the words to make them listen and understand you and if they dont than dont give up yell and scream until they listen for i might still be facing it with my mother i will not go down with out a fight)
