Bianca I read the recipe on my phone, checking the ingredients lined up on the counter. There was flour and sugar in the cupboard, but I’m missing raisins and almonds. I would also need more chocolate. Yesterday, Lena said that one of her friends brought cookies to the day care class, and she talked about them for twenty minutes, describing the different shapes and flavors. She asked Mikhail if he would make her cookies, so she can take them to class as well. The look on his face was priceless. I imagined my huge husband making cookies, and barely managed to keep a straight face as he explained to Lena how he’s not good at baking. I’m not much of a cook myself.
