Darn it! Why is the rain not stopping? My apartment is a 10-minute drive from the cafe but because of the rain, it's going to take so much longer. In all honesty, sitting in the car with Damon Jax is pretty awkward especially when from time to time he glances at you. He isn't initiating a conversation and I don't want to. There's also no music in the car. I don't know how to kill time or this awkwardness.
"Are you feeling cold?" Damon asked out of nowhere.
"No, the heater is on and I feel fine," I told him and rubbed my hands.
"You look kind of pale." He said and looked into my eyes.
