CHAPTER 15

Nyinna's POV.

“ Dad, I asked a question,” I said studying his expression careful and the look on his face now is really scaring me 

“ Why the look on your face ?” I asked, attempting to sit down back, I crossed my leg preparing for whatever he was going to say, but it never did tho 

“ What brought up about this Ju Ju Pooh ?” he said sitting up on the couch and strengthening his back 

“ Just answer dad do you know him ?” I asked, looking at him properly. 

“ No, that why I'm asking, is that why you're like this ?” He asked. 

“ Yea, dad but can we not talk about this, for now, I'm not in the mood,” I said standing as I left for my room, I kept on thinking about who Ju Ju Pooh could be, but for some reason, I couldn't explain while my eye decided to pour out, tears flowed from my eye freely, and I hate when I'm weak, I hate when someone gets into my head to make me emotional, it makes me weak

I stretched my hands to my bedside wardrobe, roaming my hands around, till my hands caught the object I was looking for, my phone, I took it out, I really need to talk to someone, I just want someone I could talk to, that will make me feel better I scan through my contacts till I stopped at Justin's own, I tapped the call icon and connected my earphones to my phone, I put on one ear leaving the other one dangling on the bed, as I waited for him to pick 

“ Hi," I said, and after a short pause he replied

“ Hello? “ He said, hello? , Oh that true, he saved his number on my phone that night, I didn't save mine

“ Oh that is true, I didn't save my on your phone that night, it was only you that saved yours on my phone,” I said sniffing my nose, I used my hands to wipe my tears, tho they were already drying off 

“ Emm... I really don't know who is these, you kinda sound familiar " he said dragging his words and saying it slowly like he was trying to get who I was, and I smiled. 

“ Does sexy hot friend sounds familiar to you?” I said smirking, and he chuckled and for some reason, my depression and moody self skyrocketed to a happy mood, no kidding since I and Justin became friends I find it hard to believe he was once an asshole.

“ That was what I used to save your number princess " he chuckled, recognizing that I was the caller 

“ At least you know who is calling, " I said 

“I knew you were the one from the beginning,” he said lightly showing that he was probably smiling in the other end 

“ f**k you,” I said rolling my eyes and he laughed

“ I bet you just rolled your eyes” 

“ Sure I did, you know me too well, and it too early”

“ Is that a bad thing?” he asked 

“ Nah, I wasn't just too easy to read, you're making it easy " 

“ Speaking of easy to read, why were you crying,” he asked

he knows how to see through people or was I really to easy to read, I smiled

“ I'm fine now, that all that matters,” I said clearing my throat

“You're fine because you called me " 

“Yea, definitely "

“ You could have called your other friends, why did you call me,” he asked carefully, I knew he was trying to say it in a way I wasn't going to feel Offended 

“ Emm I don't know, you have a good sense of humor?” I said bit my lip while smiling a bit. 

“ Are you asking me?” he said laughing, and I smiled 

“ So now tell me why you're crying,” he said seriously, indicating no more jokes 

“ They called, or he called,” I said biting my lip, I can't believe I'm telling him this even when my dad asked me and I didn't tell him, and now see me tell Justin

“ The code red guys,” he said, and I hear the shaking of the bed from the other end, indicating that someone just climbed the bed, and it's shaking

“Is that your bed shaking?” I asked. 

“ Yeah, the wood isn't strong again, I will fix it tomorrow,” he said, and I hear a female's voice in the background, he pulled the phone from his ears, telling the person to shut up

Wait.

Did I just interrupt something

“ Justin is everything okay, is someone there,” I asked 

“ Eh... nothing… Nothing, it's no one continue,” he said stuttering, but the stupid stuttering just made the whole it obvious, but he could have just said he was with someone 

“ Justin, have I become no one, " a girl said in the background and I hear a kiss sound coming from the background 

“ Jeez stop okay, get out from here " he shouted referring to the girl, I wasn't going to be angry or anything, we are friends he could have just said he was with someone, 

But then I felt this hot pain in my chest and I lose control of everything that came into my mind and my mouth, it was really a strange feeling 

“ Justin em. Let me not disturb you, I will call you back, you seem busy” I said about to cut the call.

“ Nooo...nooo I'm not, she is just a …emm… Friend, okay a Friend,” he said shouting not in an angry way, but he was kind of defending himself and trying to stop me from cutting the call, but for some reasons I couldn't explain, I felt emotional, a bit pained like I was hurt,

I mean 

Why will I feel hurt we are just friends, even tho Justin acts a little creepy to me, which I already feel like that how he behaves, so why I'm I hurt because he was with a girl 

“ Are you there nyinna?” he said to bring me back to reality 

“ Yeah sure,” I said swallowing saliva to clear my throat, so it won't be obvious 

“ She is my friend,” he said again

“ Yea friends I laughed nervously, that was what I mean by saying I couldn't control my mind, I mean there wasn't even anything to laugh about, I just made it obvious that I was hiding the fact I was hurt 

“ Yea, I called to tell you that they called, the code red, and he mentioned my relationship with a Ju ju Pooh, and I don't know Ju ju Pooh, so I got confused and hurt, so I called to tell you that, ...emmm...yeah I will just go I need to do something,” I said 

“ Wait for ny-” he said with me cutting the call before he finished, I dropped the phone beside me on the bed 

What did I just do 

I slap myself to prevent myself from crying, I bit my lips, taking air in and out and my chest rise and fall to the pattern,

“What is wrong with me,” I thought, hurriedly lie properly on the bed, pulling the duvet over my head, forcing myself to sleep

“ Dad I will marry that boy,” I said pointing at the boy, staring at me from the other window “, and I bit my small lips as I turned and face my dad who was looking at me smiling, and I pouted, and put my face into between my dad's leg, and he bent down, using his fingers to tease me 

“ Aww my baby, knows sweet things,” he said tickling me 

“ Dad, st...op...., ahhh.....it's.....mak...king me .....la...ugh hard,” said laughing as the words left my mouth, I couldn't control my laugh, I looked very happy 

“ Baby, like handsome guy,” he said as kept on tickling me and I laughed hard sticking my head out in between his legs 

“ Babe, you're making her laugh hard " my mom entered inside smiling beautifully as she lightly punches my dad in his arm, making him stop tickling me and ran out from in between his legs and ran to my mom as we all laughed, she pulls me up in her arms 

“ Dinner is ready sweetie,” she said kissing me on top of my nose with me on her arm and I turn to my dad and stick out my tongue, wiggling it at him, and he makes funny faces at me 

“ Yuck,” I said putting on a disgusting look on my face 

“ Mom looks at dad,” I said

“ Come on babe, we have to eat now,” she said carrying me downstairs with my dad at her back making a face at me, and I let out a fake laugh

“ Dad you're boring,” I said while fake laughing 

My mom dropped me down, and I looked at the food on the table,

“ Mom are we eating that Nigeria Jollof recipe, granny sent to you,” I said smiling with my eye sparkling with excitement

“ Yes sweet,” she said with her and my dad sitting down on the dining table and I struggled to sit on mine 

“ Wowww” I beamed

“ Mom can Ju Ju dear, join me,” I said pouting at them and blinking at them with a face that says come on, you can't refuse me'

“ No sweetie " 

“ Yes honey next time " 

I signed sadly and nodded

“ Honey wake up, honey wake, come on, don't smile like that it's creepy” I heard a voice, pulling me from my sleep 

“ Sweetie wake, breakfast is ready, and you will be late, “another voice said sounding feminine

“ Wait Carson I got this " another voice said sounding a bit young and definitely a guy 

Immediately something was forced into my mouth pulling me out of my sleeping 

As I hurriedly sat up on my bed 

“ What the hell,” I said spiting whatever was put inside my mouth, I glared at the three people in the room that was Mary, dad, and Justin 

“ Honey don't ever smile like that in your sleep,” my dad said and cringe at the thought of it 

Wait to speak of sleep, that was a dream 

I placed my hand on my mouth, what was that what was the dream about

“ Honey are you okay " my dad 

“ I don't know dad, but I had a dream, and I was younger, I was 5 in that dream, and it felt so real, we were happy in the dream, but it felt so real,” I said looking confused, how could that be a dream, I looked at my dad

“ Eh … That is weird, how did you know you were five in the dream, " Justin said, looking at me like he was expecting more. 

“ Justin …ehhh. I guess we should g-” my dad said with me cutting him off unknowingly.

“ That was why I said I felt so real, and I'm sure that I was five, it feels like I just remembered something, as part of me, I don't know if it's a dream, God I'm confused,” I said placing my palm on my forehead, I felt a hand on my shoulder rubbing me, I looked up and saw Justin

“ I guessed I liked a boy called Ju Ju dear, I even told my dad that I will marry him in the dream," I said and Justin removed his hand fast, coughing furiously, choking on the gym he was chewing, my dad rushed quickly to rubbing his palm at his back 

“ Mary go get him water pls,” my dad said and Mary ran downstairs, but I wasn't interested in what was going on I didn't even know what was happening in the room I was far gone deep in thought,

Wait, does Ju Ju dear, sounds like Ju Ju Pooh 

“ Wait Justin, doesn't Ju Ju dear sounds like Ju Ju Pooh, do you think they are the same person, ” I said turning to face the incident, by now Justin's eye was red 

“ f**k!!!, What happened to you, I said jumping out of the bed,
