You Again

Bryan's POV.
"Useless!" Mr. Tavoski screamed on top of his lungs as he throws the papers up in the air
"Is this what you'll gonna submit to me? A bunch of useless documents!? The articles are not even in sync! And what are these!?" he angrily said and throws the remaining papers at me
"Are you trying to implement your law, Mr. Enriquez!? That kind of article doesn't even exist! I'm not in here to play games with you, Mr. Enriquez" he added
I couldn't even look at him in the eyes. I just bow down my head and wish for the day to end. Even I didn't know how my work ends up to be useless. If only I tried to make time and re-read it, this might not even happen.
"My apologies sir. There must have been some kind of misunderstanding in some articles that I gather but if you give me another chance"
"Another chance!?" he screamed cutting me off
"One month, Mr. Enriquez! I gave you one month for that! And now what? You gave me a bunch of papers that didn't even make sense. Try to read your work and you'll find yourself not able to understand a single part of the law."
"I must have messed it up with my other works sir. Please, just one last chance." I pleaded, clasping both of my hands
"Fine! One last chance. After 3 days, give me a beautiful presentation and not some useless bunch of these" he said, throwing the papers in the trashbin
"But sir, 3 days is not enough," I said, expecting to negotiate more with him
"3 days or you won't be able to proceed!" he said without hesitation in his words which has taken me aback
"Choose wisely, Mr. Enriquez" he added before walking out of the room leaving me behind, dumbfounded by what he just said.
I took a stroll at the big part of the university which is the field. A few steps and I found myself stop in front of a big tree which produces a big shade. I then throw my bag angrily at the innocent tree.
"Bullshit!" I said with displeased
I look at the papers and re-read them, but it just made my mood even worst. I'm pretty sure that these works are not even mine, to begin with. The grammar and arrangements of the articles are so far from what I have been working on. But what more can I do, it already happened. It's not like he's gonna believe me if I say that my original work has been snatch from me and even if he did, I know to myself that I'll never even say it because of the reason that I love the person who snatched it from me. This stupid heart doesn't even listen to what my mind says.
"I'm so damn messed up!" I said pulling out my hair
"Let me go!" A girl's voice echoed through my ears
"Hey, stop refusing. We just want to have some fun" a familiar voice followed. I look at around and saw the image behind me. My brows furrowed and my knuckles clenched so tight as I walk in their direction.
"Let her go, fuckboy" I said looking straight at the man whose hand are tightly gripped to the girl's hand
"Hey, Bryan. It's so new of you to be this nosy. Fun fact, I like the nerd Bryan more" he said, mocking me
"Just let the girl go, Ryan," I said with a firm in my voice
"And what if I don't?" he said standing close to where I'm standing
"You don't want to be sent in detention again, do you?" I said in a bold tone, letting out a smirk. His eyes widen but still manages to let out a laugh. Before I knew it, his knuckles were already on my face giving it a huge impact as my lips start to draw blood.
"You've got to be kidding me," I said looking at my thumb accompanied with blood from my lips. I look at him viciously and throw a punch.
We exchange punches and to my surprise, I was already outnumbered, making me knocked down to the ground, and felt the few shoes, stepping on me. My visions almost become black but then I heard a familiar voice that slowly becoming clear
"Let my best friend go, you f*****g idiots!"
I can still see the fear in their eyes from below. They all looked like they just saw a monster
"It's Dawn, let's run!" they said and run for their petty lives.
Dawn's POV.
"Dawn, a big problem!" a block mate of mine said, her hands were on her knees as she gasps for some air
"Chillax, Anna. What problem could be there" I said, not bothering to stand up from laying down on one of the benches of the school, reading my book
"It's Bryan" she replied, still catching her breath
"What happened? Did you locked him in a room and kissed him?" I said, teasing her
"No i***t! Ryan and his troops were stepping on him!" she said which made me look at her to see if she's being serious
"They are in the field. It's obvious that Bryan was outnumbered"
I didn't listen any further to what Anna said. I just run straight to the field and saw Bryan covering his face while those jerks continue to step on him. I saw a fallen branch of a tree on the ground and without any hesitation, I grabbed it and broke it into two
"Let my best friend go, you f*****g idiots!" I said as I charge towards them
"It's Dawn, let's run!" they said and run to save their petty lives.
I immediately went to Bryan and examined his bruises. Luckily, he didn't seem to break any of his bones.
"What happened, young man?" I asked worriedly before a stranger hits me in the head.
"Aww! What's your prob-"
I couldn't even finish my sentence when I saw the devil in her eyes.
"Hey cuz, try to relax okay?" I said, taking a few steps backward
"Where have you been all this time!? Did you know how much trouble I was put up to just so I could meet you? If it weren't for this man out here, who knows I might end up in some stranger's house! b***h! You didn't even pick me up at the airport" she said, displeased
"Forgive me okay? It slipped off my mind that you will be coming home today"
"How about I hit you again so that you'll remember," she said preparing her heavy hands that will soon land on my face
"My best friend is already sorry, please forgive her" Bryan butted in
She just stared at me with displeased before looking back to Bryan
"Are you okay? Where do you feel pain most?" she said examining Bryan's bruises
"I'm fine. It's just a little scratch" he answered
"Dawn, Bryan. I heard what happened. Are you all okay?" Awi shouted, grabbing our attention
"We're all fine baby girl. No need to worry" Bryan said and stand up on his own two feet.
"Guys, let me introduce you all to my cousin. This is Scarlet" I said pointing at my cousin
"Cuz, these are my friends, Awi," I said pointing at Awi "And Bryan" I added pointing at Bryan
"It's a pleasure to finally meet both of you. Please let me all treat you to lunch so I can also give my gratitude towards Bryan who saved me earlier"
"No, you don't need to do that. I was happy to help. I don't expect anything in return"
"He means, it's gonna be great," I said and put my lips close to Bryan's ears
"Come on man, it's free food"
"Great then, let's go," Scarlet said and take the lead
"Wait. Nicole asked me to have lunch together" Awi said, stopping all of us
"Then just tell her to join us. It would be great to finally meet her" Bryan said
Few minutes passed by and we reach our destination. We decided to eat in a fast-food chain and Scarlet immediately fall in line to place our orders. A few more minutes and Nicole arrive.
"Hey how are you?" she said greeting all of us
"Sky said she and our best friend from states would want to join us. I hope you don't mind, don't worry they'll be buying their own food" Nicole added
After a few chats, Scarlet arrived with our orders. Just like Bryan, it's her first time seeing Nicole so Awi introduces them first to each other. We were all busy chatting while Scarlet was busy eating her fries while scrolling to her i********:. After some time, Sky and her best friend arrived.
"Oh, I guess they're here," I said which made Nicole stand up from her seat and bring them to our table
"So, guys, let me introduce you again to my friends. This is Sky" she said pointing at Sky "And this is our best friend who just arrived from states, Xavier" Nicole added pointing at the handsome guy who I think is 6ft. tall
Scarlet examined him from head to toe before her eyebrows meet each other as she throws some devil stare at the guy
"You again!" Scarlet and Xavier said in unison which made all of us confuse
