Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day

Arrival

Xavier's POV.

"Ladies and gentlemen, now we're approaching our destination where the local time is 7:00 am. At this stage, you should be in your seat with your seatbelt firmly fastened. Personal television screens, footrests, and seat tables must be stowed away and all hand luggage stored either in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front. Please ensure all electronic devices and computer games are turned off" said a flight attendant that echoed throughout the speaker.

Just a few more minutes and I'll be in my home town again. The sweet aroma of flowers, the wide blue ocean that is found everywhere, and the warm breeze will finally welcome me when this plane lands. A few seconds right after the plane landed, my phone vibrates, receiving a call. Without hesitation, I press the green button which has a phone icon with it.

"Hey, where are you?" said a familiar voice through the other line

"I just landed. Why did you ask? Did you miss me that much?" I said, teasing her

"i***t. I'm here waiting for you at the departure area," she said which made me raise a brow

"A lot of things change lately. Mom thought that you might get lost on your way so she asked me to come and pick you up. Just so it would be easier for you to locate me, I'm wearing a blue off-shoulder paired with white jeans and white vans"

After I heard what she said through the other line, I let my eyes roam around and search for the exact girl she describes as her. I then saw a girl facing back at me looking for someone, just by looking at her back features, I already know who she is.

"Sky!!!" I said, letting the excitement overlaps my voice. She then turns to face me and gave a beautiful smile

"Xavier," she said, running towards me to give me a warm hug

"I miss you so much" she added

"I miss you too, you i***t," I said, releasing myself from her hug and plant a kiss on her forehead

"Have you already eaten?" I asked her not letting the smile on my face left. I'm pleased to meet this beautiful girl standing right in front of me

"Not yet. I'm hungry, let's eat at a fast-food chain first?" she said, asking for my permission

"Yes sure, let's go to your favorite fast-food chain. I heard they have a new branch here at this airport. Am I right?" I asked

"Yes, they have," she confirmed and grab my hand to lead the way to the fast-food chain

The line was not that long so I asked her to look for a table for both of us. After the few people in front of me grab their orders, it's gonna be my turn to place an order. However, a random girl inserts in front of my line. She's wearing pink headphones, probably the reason why she can't hear the multiple "excuse me" that I utter. I lightly tap her back to tell her that she inserted in line but like a dead log, I only got no signs of response.

"What the heck!!!" I yelled when I felt a hot liquid spilled on my white long sleeves

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry mister. I didn't know a person is standing right behind me"

"What are you!? Blind? Of course, there will be people that will stand right behind you. This is a freaking line for Pete's sake!" I screamed with displeased, my eyes showing both fire and ice

"I'm so sorry. Let me take care of your top" she said, trying to wipe the coffee stains in my long sleeves

"As if I would let you. Why do you even eat here when you're just gonna ruin someone's mood" I said, showing the irritation in my voice as I shrugged her hands that's on my long sleeves.

"Sir, Aren't you going too far? This is a fast-food chain and this is my life. I am free to eat at the place I want, it's not like you own this place or what!?" she said, placing both of her hands at the back of her neck

"Okay, let me just tell this to you, young lady. Eating at a place that you want, is no problem at all BUT inserting in someone's line and being clumsy is a damn big problem of yours" I said

"I already said I'm sorry, didn't I? You're the one who has a problem here sir. You are too full of your pride!" she said, rolling her eyes

"Oh and sorry if I didn't saw you in line, your height is just, you know, too small to be a man" she added mockingly

"You sexist! Guard!!!" I yelled, catching the attention of the guard. He ran towards our area, looking back and forth to the both of us

"Get this b***h out of here!" I yelled

"What!? This fast-food chain is not even yours asshole!" she said with displeased

"Xavier, what happened here?" Sky said looking at the two of us

Just like the guard, Sky looks back and forth at the both of us, examining what was the commotion all about. When Sky noticed how my long sleeves got ruined because of some coffee stains, she immediately knew what just happened

"Are you okay? Did you burn yourself?" she said, concerned

The girl's eyes in front of me look worried after hearing what Sky just said but it's not like that this lady do care right?

"You know what Sky, let's just eat at some other branch okay? My mood is ruined because of a certain b***h" I said, composing myself.

"Oops, sorry for ruining your date asshole"

"What did you just say," I said, ready to attack the b***h in front of me. My knuckles tightly clenched but Sky grab my arms to stop me

"Forget it, Xavier, I'm sure the lady didn't mean what she said" Sky uttered

"Nah, Scarlet know what Scarlet means," she said, letting out a dirty smirk on her face

"You don't deserve an asshole like him, young lady. Your beauty is such a waste if you hang out with a guy like him" she added, looking straight at Sky

"Excuse me?" Sky answered, confused as to what she meant

"Let's go Sky. It's such a waste of time to talk to some crazy b***h out here" I said and take our leave.
