Her Never Ending Crush Affair

Chapter 6

I was in a bad mood the whole week. Thanks to Kristoff. He knew how to pissed me off. For those days, I have been trying to see him to no avail. He was hiding from me. Yep. I got it. 

“Seriously, Belle? Do you still have a crush on that marine guy? Record-breaker, huh?” She grinned. That made me more pissed. 

I threw her a lot of chips. We were actually in Kylie’s house, and we were currently watching Kissing Booth two in her room. 

“Stop it! You are wasting the chips!” I just rolled my eyes at her and just focused on watching the movie.

It was the scene where Elle saw an earring under Noah’s bed when she visited him at Harvard.

“I knew it! Noah is cheating!” I said and munched on the chips. 

“Nope! He is not. Jeez!” Kylie disagreed. 

“It is so obvious! Men cheat, especially if you are in a long-distance relationship. Tsk!”

“Really? Is that from your own experience?” She raised her brow to me. I raised my middle finger on her to shut her up!

“Oh my God! It is based on your experience!” She teased. 

“Shut up! We’re watching a movie.” I glared at her. She paused the movie and turned to me. 

“Tell me the details.” I sighed heavily. If I would not tell her, she’d bug me until I gave up. 

“Okay, fine! It was my ex. Technically we did not even break up. He just disappeared like a bubble in the air after a month when they transferred to the US. And then I just saw a post of his friends on i********:, she was with a girl, and they were f*****g kissing. So after that, I promised to myself that I would not let men hurt me.”not

“Woah! I do not know what to say.” 

“Whatever, Kylie.” I chuckled.

“Belle, being hurt is part of falling in love.” 

“I know. That is why I do not want to fall in love again.” I grinned at her and played the movie again. 

“But that does not mean that you will also hurt other men because of what your ex did to you. Not all men are like your ex. You are already twenty, and I know you are wiser now,” she pointed out. 

I bit my lower lip and looked at her. “I know. I do not mean to dump them. I liked them at first, but my feelings will disappear right away. I have not like someone that fired me up the more I am with them. After a week, I got bored with them.” 

“Are you sure? No one? Because I think this marine guy is the one who will tame you.” She grinned. 

“I only got a crush on him.” I lied. I knew it was not just a simple crush. I admit. I like him—a lot. 

“A crush that lasts for more than a week? That is first. And you are always not in the mood these past few days because you haven’t seen him. Stop denying it. I know you like him a lot.” I bit my lower lip. Damn! I looked at Kylie again.

“Damn! Kylie! I think I am doomed.” She laughed from what I said. 

“I knew it. Well… You are Anna Belle Vasquez and you get what you want. Get that guy.” She winked and grinned. 

I stood up and took my sling bag on Kylie’s couch. 

“Where are you going?” She asked, confused. 

I grinned at him and raised my chin. “To get what I want,” I said and then bid her goodbye. I even heard her shouted goodluck outside her balcony when I got inside my car.

I kept on asking Josh where Kristoff’s address was. He did not want to give it at first but I bribed him that I’d help him get back Kylie if he’d help me. I knew that he wanted Kylie back so he accepted my offer. 

My phone suddenly beeped and I saw Josh’s message for me. I grinned when I read the address that he sent to me.

I sped up my car going to Kristoff‘s address. It was somewhere in Mabolo. I just put the address on my GPS to avoid getting lost. 

The GPS led me to an old house. I went out of the car and was about to walk closer to the house’s gate when I heard a shouts from the inside.

“If you just accept your father’s money then we will not be struggling like this!” It was a woman’s angry voice.

I saw a guy getting out of the house and then suddenly stopped midway. “There is no way that I will take money from that man.” His voice was familiar. The guy walked out of the rusty gate and my eyes widened when our eyes met. 

It was Kristoff. He was wearing a simple white shirt and faded jeans. His brows furrowed while looking at me. He walked towards my direction with a fast pace. 

“What the f**k are you doing here?” he said coldly. 

“I—“ 

“Nevermind,” he interjected. My eyes widened more when he suddenly got inside the passenger's seat of my car. “Are you just going to stay there?” Without second thoughts, I hurriedly got inside my car and started the engine. 

“Where do you want to go?” I asked. My hands suddenly trembled. I clutched tightly on the steering wheel and glanced at him while driving the car. 

Damn! What is wrong with you, Belle?

“Let's go to your place,” he said, and that made me step on the car’s break. 

“What?” He looked at me with a serious expression. My heart suddenly hammered inside my chest. I could feel the tension between us and it was so strong. 

“I will give you what you want.” Even if I was still confused, I just drove the car and brought him to my condo unit in Avida IT Park. 

The moment we got inside my unit and closed the door, he grabbed my hand, pinned me on the wall and crushed his lips to mine.
