His Warrior Luna

Pre Ball Day!

Elsie wakes to the loud hustle and bustle coming from outside. “Oh for the love of goddess it can’t have started already!” Elsie drags her self from her bed, and opens her blinds. She sees the court yard filled with people decorating the house with lights and garlands. “Yep, there they starting the preparations for tomorrow.” The smell of spring fresh in the air with a clear blue sky makes her  gently smile for a short moment. Spring was her favourite season with the vison of new life forming, the sign of new beginnings and hope, but hope had faded in her heart now... this was her life.. not bad by any means but not as complete as she had dreamed, and no new beginnings. She walks to the bathroom for her routine hot morning shower. “ I have a good feeling for us this time El, the Goddess would not forget us.” Her wolf whispers. “Morning Eb’s, we have had this talk babe. I think the Goddess wants us as protectors not lovers” Ebony her wolf gives a small whimper and steps back in Elsies mind. Ebony also has craved her mate, she longs for that connection, the bond. Elsie finishes up , dries and dresses into her sparring clothes, tight black lightly armoured leggings and a black tight fitted vest, wrist bands finish the look and purpose, she ties her glossy long black hair into a loose thick braid. She needs to get some of this pent up frustration out, and quick. Leaving her room she sees the Luna, her Mother. She is still so beautiful with her auburn hair and kind green eyes, green like her own. “Hey kitten, are you really going to kick some butt today of all days? You should be at the spar with the other girls!” Elsie rolled her eyes and huffs. “Mom, the mating game is not for me. I have ass whooping to do” she smiles warmly as her mom rests a hand to her soft face. “Please grab some breakfast at least Elsie, and I have faith in the Goddess.. she has a plan for us all”  I wish this was true she thinks to herself, dropping her perky happy go lucky act for a split second, but long enough for her mother to see the look of sadness flash in her eyes.

After a polite nod, knowing full well she has been caught  she says ' either or either Mom, it is what it is' kisses her mothers cheek and sets off jogging to save anymore awkward comments. Elsie grabs some toast, a banana and a bottle of chilled water from the kitchen. She takes a bite of her toast and turns to leave to head out to the training ground. She catches her Father Alpha David on the phone, he is talking loudly and laughing... 'hmm obviously someone he likes' she mutters and chuckles to herself and waves. His face was bright as the sun in July as he smiled warmly as he waved to her motioning to wait. 

“Well here she is my warrior princess! Where are you off to in a hurry?” He asks knowing full well by her attire she is off to kick some poor guys ass. “Dad, you know full well. Don’t you do a mom on me and try and get me at that spar with the wanna be Luna’s! “ she laughed, maybe a little to forced. “Well, you know I am happy having you here forever as my Warrior Princess El, but this year ... something feels different. Besides we have a guest Alpha and his Beta joining us tomorrow. His sister is mated with the Alpha of White Wolf Pack and he just so happened to be visiting so he is joining them. He doesn’t have a mate, but hasn’t been invited before as his pack is just outside our alliance areas” Ebony was going crazy with this statement “El he is ours I know it, I just know it” Elsie gave a shrug to her father “ what will be will be Dad, either way I’m happy with you guys and our pack” she hugged her father and jogged off to the training ground.

“Hmmm, maybe we should get booked at the Spa after all Eb’s” she said to her Wolf.
