/Ariana's POV/
"Argh," I breathed out heavily in relief as we returned to the waiting room after the show. I reached for the water on the table only to turn and collide with Ethan, who was right behind me.
"You did a good job." He smiled, planting a soft kiss on my forehead.
"Didn't know you remembered that night though?" Ethan was confusing me these days. I get it if we have to act the best lover outside the walls; did he have to keep it up inside the walls as well? Except, of course, they are watching us.
"I...didn't remember," I answered honestly, moving to the couch while waiting for Rohan to get back so he could announce that we were ready to leave.
"Until now, why didn't you say anything?" My brows creased and his face fell flat.
