How could he say no to her, when she was curled up in his arms like this? He nodded, pulling her closer to him once again, and kissed her forehead gently. He laid her in the bed next to her son, and climbed in beside her. Gently he rolled her on her stomach, tucked the covers around her, and rubbed circles in her back till he could hear her gentle snores. Settling in beside her, he drifted off to sleep himself, feeling content for the first time in a very long time. # When Sammy woke up she was completely alone in bed. Blinking rapidly, it took her a few minutes to realize where she was. The night before came flooding back, and her cheeks turned bright red at the memory of how all over Charles she had been. She was so absorbed in her own thoughts that it took a moment for her to register that Jeremy wasn't in the bed with her either. Panic flooded through her, and she threw back the covers, rushing from the room in search of her son. She tore through the bedroom door and down the hallway, doing her best to hold in her panic, but when turned through the hallway door and rounded on the kitchen she stopped dead in her tracks at the sight before her. Jeremy was laughing, in the kitchen with Charles, as they made pancakes together. Her had a disting of flower across the front of his shirt, and a finger sized smear of batter on his cheek. He still wore his lego pajamas from the night before, and his eyes shone in a way she hadn't seen in a long time. Her heart ached at the sight. Her son rarely ever interacted with other adults, he was a fairly solitary boy. The sight of him bonding with another man brought a glow of happiness to her. She always knew that he longed for a father figure in his life. He never said as much, probably because he didn't want to hurt her feelings, but she knew her son. Smiling widely, she walked into the kitchen. Both boys turned at the sound of her entrance, Jeremy bounding up to her excitedly. “Mom, we made you pancakes. Charles said we should let you sleep in a little bit. I agreed. You looked exhausted. Don't worry though, I made sure he made you coffee. Want me to get you a cup?” He practically bounced with excitement, his eyes bright and exuberant. She laughed. “I'd love a cup of coffee, baby.” She ruffled his hair before he ran off to make her a cup. He knew just how she took her coffee, and always made it just right. She walked over to Charles, and held her arms out tentatively for a hug. He smiled at her widely and pulled her into a deep embrace. “Thank you,” she whispered in his ear. He smiled. “Not a problem,” he breathed in return. “And please believe me when I say, we will be picking up where we left off last night. Preferably soon, if I have any say in it.” She flushed red, not sure how to respond. The events of last night were certainly still fresh in her mind. There was no denying her body’s response to him. Even now, as close as she was to him, she could feel the heat pooling in her core. It had been a long time since she had been attracted to a man this way. Even longer since she had had s*x. This whole situation was so far outside of her comfort zone she didn't even care to contemplate it. She pulled away from him, embarrassment still evident in her face. She turned towards the table just in time for Jeremy to appear with her coffee. She smiled at her boy, taking the cup and thanking him. “C’mon, mom, sit. Breakfast is almost done. Charles and I will bring it to you. Today is all about you relaxing!” She laughed. How could she say no to that cute little guy? She sat at the table, groaning slightly at the sting in her ass as she sat. She had yet to look in the mirror but she was certain that she was bruised. Charles caught the slight wince and groan as she sat, and winked at her. He could feel himself hardening at the flush that crept its way up her neck. The way this woman responded to him was perfect. He had certainly not expected it, and it left him excited to discover what other reactions he could draw out of her. Was it possible that he had finally found himself the perfect little submissive in this tiny blip of a town? The thought gave him hope for his future. They ate breakfast in a comfortable silence, everyone far too hungry to make small talk. After breakfast was finished, Charles insisted that he and Jeremy would clean it all up. “You go and relax, watch some tv, enjoy the quiet. You need a day of relaxation.” As guilty as she felt for indulging, she couldn't deny her exhaustion, or how tempting the offer really was. It had been a long time since she felt safe or comfortable. But here, at his house, she certainly did. She could forget her troubles for a day, and let herself revel in the safety of this man's home. She curled up on the couch to watch a movie, covering herself with the blanket that sat on the back of it. With a full stomach, and a calm mind, it wasn't more than ten minutes before she was fast asleep.
