Tired wouldn't even be able to explain the way I was feeling right now. I was beyond exhausted. I really think I should have taken up the chief's offer and postponed the tour by just a few months at least until I had the chance to fully recover from the accident. I sat at the kitchen island, sipping on some coffee and trying to refuel my soul.
"Hey, you! I have to say, for a non-morning person ... you are quite up early!" Giovanni said as he walked over to me, giving me a quick kiss on the head before moving over to make himself some coffee. I just groaned and looked up at him.
"I honestly feel like a zombie ... I have absolutely zero energy in my body!" I said. Clearly, I was some other comedian as Giovanni spat out the coffee, laughing hard. I just narrowed my eyes at him
