Salvian ... the man I hoped to never meet in my entire time here.
"Who are you and what on earth are you doing in Xavier's office?!" Salvian said with a scowl across his face. He looked me up and down with such hunger in his eyes that it made me uncomfortable in so many ways. I shifted on my feet and cleared my throat, drawing his attention back up to my eyes.
"Well ... my name is Carla and I was looking for Xavier ... I hoped to find him in his office ..." I said matter of fatly, trying to sound as confident as I possibly could. I knew Salvian was an old and wise man. I guess that's why he was the advisor to the Cortez family. I could see the suspicion in his eyes.
