NARINE'S POV The morning sunlight spilled like warm gold across the polished floors, touching the walls of the bedroom with gentle, buttery hues. I sat at the edge of the bed, my bare feet barely brushing the cool marble. The scent of fresh lavender and aged oak lingered in the air, faint, earthy, and crisp.
