Elena POV The Full Moon Gathering had finally arrived, and the town was buzzing with excitement. As soon as Thalia and I stepped outside, we could feel the electric energy in the air. The streets were packed with people—families, couples, and groups of friends all dressed to impress, their faces lit up with anticipation. Thalia and I stuck to the edges of the festivities, just watching, not really looking to join in. We passed by food vendors with stalls decked out in twinkling lights and colorful banners. The smell of roasted meat and sweet pastries filled the air. Kids ran past us, laughing and playing, their excitement was contagious. I watched them with a bittersweet smile, remembering a time when I could’ve been that carefree. But those days felt like they belonged to someone else,
