Elena POV The sun was setting as I made my way to Zach's house, the orange and pink hues casting a warm glow over the streets. I couldn't shake off the unease that had settled in my stomach since last night. I needed to talk with Zach. I couldn’t let his actions go unexplained. His message, intentional or not, had led to one of the most terrifying nights of my life. I needed answers, and I needed them now.
