Prisca's POV
I was startled and woke up because of ear-splitting noise. At first, I thought I was hallucinating a sound. While struggling between wakefulness and sleep, I let out a groan. The entire chamber was dark, and I couldn’t see anything through my slightly opened eyes. I hugged my pillow again, tightly squeezing my eyes.
Then it occurs again… The raucous sound appeared. It even repeated.
I sat on my bed at once, waking up fully. I am not hallucinating the sound, it is real. My breath became short and fast, because of the sudden movement of my body.
Someone is knocking on my door demented manner. The next moment, I realized someone is calling my name. No, more than one voice… I could hear two or three female voices. In the middle of those female voices, I heard a familiar sobbi
