Even though I tried my best to remain calm, my tone came out as a shriek.
“Don’t think too highly of yourself simply because you are staying in the Wylanhild Park,” the baroness Lennox stated, lowering her voice.
I let out a sigh. “Don’t tell me the baroness intentionally found me to only deliver these words,”
Matthias rubbed his neck while directing a sleepy, yet warning, glance at me. The baroness and Verena groaned.
