Chapter Six For most folks a trip to the gas station was just another chore, but not for Nate Jessop. At least not today. Today his new credit card had arrived and he was using it to fill the tank of his old pickup. As he watched the numbers on the pump ticking higher, Nate couldn’t stop grinning. Before he’d only done unskilled jobs paying low wages, but now he was a professional man with a professional occupation.
