Chapter 44 Jessica –––––––– I STARED AT MYSELF in the mirror, wondering if I looked okay. It seemed like forever since I’d last seen Jordan and I was so nervous, I could barely put my mascara on. Leaning forward, I finished up my makeup and then wound my hair up into a messy bun. After inserting a few Bobby-pins to hold it in place, I went back to my bedroom, slipped off the robe, and put on the slinky black dress. I then headed downstairs to check on the prime rib I had baking in the oven.
