When I came out of the bathrooms, I didnt see Chaos anywhere. But I did see the one prospect standing against the same wall Chaos was only minutes ago.
"Ms Savvy," He dropped his eyes to Blue, then looked back up at me. "Chaos had to step away for a minute and asked me to keep you company." He reached into his pocket, pulling out a piece of beef jerky. Holding it with shaky hands, he held his hand out to Blue.
"I...I.. got a treat for Blue."
I would have laughed, but he was trying so hard. Blue didnt move to take the treat; he looked up at me first.
"Go on," I tell him. he steps forward, taking the jerky from him. Then chomping it down right away, He looked up at the guy for more,
I saw him let out a slow breath, his face seemed to regain some color.
