Chapter seven She signs, "You have to see this," she says instead and walks out. I sign and follow her out. She stops by the window side of the sitting room. I continue to stare at her, very much confused at what she's trying to pass across. She sighs again and points a finger toward the window. Is something wrong? I walk forward, my legs shaking underneath me at the possibility of disaster ahead of me. When I pull aside the curtain and look through, my mouth drops open in shock. What the heck! I couldn't close my mouth, I couldn't stop the mad beating of my heart. I look slowly back at mom. She sighs again, obviously frustrated like I am. I watch her walk away before I hold my head, mentally preventing the bursting of my brain. If I had a gun right now, I would shoot it through
