Olivia’s POV (Cailean’s Mom)
“Olivia, the spell we cast on Cailean is breaking slowly. Haven’t she called you yet?” My mom asked and I can see how worried she was. I couldn’t blame her, we did everything with our powers to protect Cailean from the enemy but if fate decided to play its part then there’s nothing we can do to stop it.
This is the reason why I never allow Cai to set foot in the woods. She disobeyed me once and it did not turn out well. It almost costed her life!
“No mom, not yet.” I replied gently.
“Maybe you should pay her a visit.” My mom suggested. “I am really worried about her. I’m sure she’s starting to experience odd things, she needs to take the potion.” She added. I sat down on one of the dining chairs opposite to mom.
