Cailean lost her consciousness right after Alpha Marcus left the dungeon. That bastard savagely put an “X” mark on top of Cailean's mate mark. He beat her without showing mercy, and of all people, he chose Xander and me to help him with his evil doing. We didn't do anything to hurt her but what we did was worse. We just stood still, watching Marcus' every punch landing on Cailean's body. My heart aches for Cailean, our true Alpha. I don't know how to face her again after this incident. Will she forgive and accept me once she found out who I am?
