Ashley...
It's been days since Em and Ken were ambushed and the pack has been in a state of frenzy.
Ken had a minor head injury but an injury nevertheless because of the peltgras.
It was although strange to Ashley that he survived because of the animosity between werewolves and peltgras but every member of the pack including Kira said it was a miracle.
Ashley was heading to the kitchen for lunch when she saw the commotion.
Members of the pack were going in and out of the kitchen making Ashley frown.
She managed to grab the attention of one of the pack members asking her what was going on.
"The Alpha has been poisoned and is currently in a severe condition. We're clearing out the kitchen to locate the poison" the pack member said before leaving a confused Ashley behind.
Ashley frowned immediately.
It was very rare to poison a werewolf especially an Alpha because they could sniff it out immediately.
Unless it was injected into a sleeping Alpha.
But who had guts to do such horrible thing.
The Luna, perhaps?
Ashley shook her head immediately.
The Luna was so kind and...too good to do such despicable thing.
Ashley bit her lip hesitantly planning to tell Kira her findings.
And with that thought, she marched upstairs to Kira's room.

Dr. Dean hummed softly flipping through the magazine while Ken glared hatefully at him.
Dr. Dean sighed before placing the magazine on the table.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of being glared at?" He said sarcastically causing Ken to clench his fist.
"Did you really have to knock me out?" Ken gritted out in anger causing Dr. Dean to smirk.
"No but it was fun seeing you..."
The door to his office opened causing the two men to stare at the door.
Rosie walked in rolling her eyes at the tension in the air before taking a seat at the sofa.
"It's like you guys want to f**k right now" Rosie said causing identical looks of disgust to be thrown at her.
"I'd rather f**k a zombie" Ken said causing a smile to appear on her face and Dr. dean to scoff.
"The news of the poison has gotten out just like we planned" Rosie said causing Dr. Dean to nod,"Everything now depends on Ben and Emily"
"The pack will need an Alpha and that's where you come in" Dr. Dean said pointing at Ken.
"I know what I have to do but if I'm suspected then it's all your fault since you're the cause of this" Ken muttered distastefully pointing to the bandage on his head.
Dr. Dean stood up to retrieve a bottle before handing it over to Ken, "Oh please, you're being a baby. I'll spend a letter to Ben at once. He needs to quicken Emily in every way. This plan can't fail not when we're this far"
"Yeah, whatever. I'm leaving. I need to sleep" Ken said before walking towards the door.
"Hey Ken, I hope you've gotten rid of every second thoughts" Dr. Dean said causing Ken to roll his eyes.
"I have always had one plan" he said before leaving.

Em was tirelessly working on the formula.
The first few days, she had refused to go close to the equipment on the lab table.
She had only asked Mel what her allergies were and had made a mental note of all of them.
That is until yesterday when Alpha ben placed a shock collar around Mel's neck which in turn coerced her into working on the solution.
The shock collar had only been activated twice and Mel described the experience as life threatening.
Em ordered for every allergies mentioned by Mel and had used a bit of everything in making a solution.
Alpha Ben had visited that evening as usual with their dinner and had smiled after seeing the solution.
"Is that it?" He asked picking it up.
"Yes but we need a test subject to make sure it works" Em said after taking a spoonful of the soup.
Alpha Ben grabbed the papers Emily had scribbled on before signaling his men.
They held a confused Em and a panicked Mel down.
"What are you doing?" Em asked causing Alpha Ben to scoff.
He grabbed a syringe before pouring the contents of the tube into the syringe.
"You said we needed a test subject and Mel here looks excited for it" Alpha Ben said before walking towards her.
"It could kill her" Em screamed causing Alpha Ben to smirk.
"I hope so" And with that, he had injected her.
Emily screamed in horror watching as Mel screamed in pain.
Her body shriveled and tore off like a piece of paper causing the once white tiles to turn blood red.
Alpha Ben stood up signalling his men to leave before smiling down at a devastated Em.
"You did well, Em. I'll get back to you later"
And with that, he left.
Em didn't know how long she stared at Mel's corpse but she knew she had to leave the lab immediately.
Even if she died trying.

"It's done" Alpha Ben said to the group causing smiles to lit up their faces.
"How long do you think it will take Lila to replicate Em's formula?" Rosie asked causing Dr. Dean to shrug.
"As far as we have her baby, she'll do everything we want. Although, Ken blinded an eye"
Ken rolled his eyes,"Yeah, well she killed Jack"
"Who is an asshole. None of them are our friends. It's us against the world, Ken. Remember that before you go around being stupid" Dr. Dean said making Ken glare at him.
"Have you convinced Jayden about being Alpha yet?" Rosie asked causing Ken to nod.
"He thinks his father will be fine so we need to terminate him as soon as possible so he can take over the Alpha position"
"He'll die in a few days anyways" Rosie muttered causing them to nod in approval.
"Alright, everyone act as normal as possible. Everything's going according to the plan and we can't ruin s**t now" Dr. Dean said causing Ken to roll his eyes.
"Whatever" he said before leaving.
"Also keep an eye on Ken, Rosie. He's acting a bit weird and we can't loose him like we lost Cole, okay?" Dr. Dean said before dismissing everyone.
