IRREPLACEABLE BOND ?

CHAPTER 10

AFEEFA'S P.O.V:

I woke up and did my daily routine.

"Good morning Aunt" I said as I came into the dining room

"Morning Feefa. How are you?" Aunt replied

"Am fine" I said kissing Na'ima's cheeks

"Morning Ukhti" Na'ima said

"Morning cutie" I replied

We started eating when Leila joined us on the table. We chit chatted as we ate before we all decided to go our separate ways.

Aunt and Na'ima went to Mrs. Zainab's house since it was a Saturday. There's no school and there's no work. While Leila and I went to the mall, as planned

We locked up the house and went out. The mall wasn't really that far from our place. It was just a 10 minutes drive.

We went on with our shopping and I was beginning to get tired. Leila has been throwing clothes at me that my hands have started to get tired and I was pressed that I needed to use the restroom ASAP. I wish I didn't take too much water.

When I went in the restroom, I saw what I wasn't expecting at the moment. Mother nature has taken its course. I quickly ran out of there picking all the bags and telling Leila to hurry up.

"Afeefa slow down" Leila told me as I was walking fast. but I gave her deaf ears as I increased my pace.

I heard my phone rang, as I reached into my bag to look for it. I bumped into someone and we both fell on the floor.

"Ouch!" I heard a feminine voice said.

"I'm so sorry" I said as I started to pack my shopping bags and the rest of my stuffs that fell on the floor.

I kept my stuffs aside as I helped her with hers. I packed all the clothes that she was holding before which are now splattered all over the floor.

"I'm so sorry miss" I said to her again

"No problem" she said. "Mistakes do happen don't they" she said freely and I smiled. There was something about this girl's voice but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Her face was half covered with a dark peach veil which went well with the abaya that has an amazing weave on it. She removed the veil and pinned it roughly and then raised her head and extended hand

"Hi my name is Afeena, nice to meet you" she said as I bent down my head to look at my phone. It was Ameena that called

"Hi. Mine is Afeefa, nice to......" I stopped in my tracks as I took hold of the view in front of me

Lo and behold!...I never expected I would see anything like this in my whole entire life. I was amazed, shocked and utterly confused.

I was looking at her wide eyes and so was she. We were looking at each other as if we were both aliens from different planet who are meeting each other for the first time.

"Who are you?" We both asked simultaneously.

Just then Leila approached us both. "Hey Feefa, why did you walk away like thaa...." She stopped midway looking at both of us

"Woahhh. What is happening here?" She asked moving backwards so she could take in the moment very clearly.

Just then, a lady in a black trouser, a white Karena and a white hijab approached us mistakenly hitting Leila's shoulder

"Sorry," she said to Leila.

Wait a minute, it's that Nour girl that mistook me with a girl named Afeena. I guess this must be the Afeena lady.

"What is going on here?" Nour asked

"That's what I just asked" Leila said

"Excuse me. What's your name?" I asked my mysterious look alike.

"Afeena Ibrahim Sadiq. What is yours?"

"Afeefa Mohammed Souleiman" I replied

"Guys. Am I the only one looking at twins right now?" Nour said squealing with excitement. I laughed at her while Afeena rolled her eyes

"Well I can assure you that I am not a twin. My mum and dad never said anything about me having a twin" I said and Afeena nodded in agreement.

"Neither did mine" she said

My mind immediately went back to the reason I was walking fast. Oh My God. What if I start.... Then I felt something against my legs.

"Leila! Urgent mother nature alert!" I whispered into her ear and her eyes widened as she made an O shaper with her mouth.

"We have to go" Leila said and I nodded.

We walked as fast as we could and finally, we have reached the car.

"Should I seat? I'm going to spoil your car" I said looking at Leila.

"And if you don't you are going to spoil your body. Besides, how are you going to get home? By walking?" She said and I shook my head

"And I am going to wash the car very soon Feefa. Don't worry just get in!" She added and we got in.

She drove really fast and soon, we were home. I quickly ran upstairs and luckily for me no one is at home and I was wearing a black skirt.

Thank God I don't have cramps much.

I took my bath and dressed up again.

That is how the shopping ended. With us leaving all those clothes splattered everywhere In the middle of the mall. I hope they don't recognise our faces. they're going to hate us forever.

We waited till Aunt and Na'ima came back home. We ate dinner.

I just can't believe that next week is school week.
