Cold water slapped my body as I jolted awake. I groan in pain as the water drips into my cuts. The sun was already high. I knew I wouldn't get out of this alive as I heard the car door shut. For the first time in 2 years, I shook with fear. I start to fight against the silver cuffs. My wrist began to bleed as I put all my weight against the cuff to pull the nails off the post. I desperately look around me when my eyes land on the man I rejected yesterday. He had the biggest grin on his disgusting face as he saw me struggle.

"Good Luck." He calls over his shoulder as he disappears into the pack house. I couldn't stop trusting because I knew they heard me from the front of the pack house. I can hear their footsteps get closer. s**t, if I wasn't so weak I could have already escaped this place.

"What the hell is this Thaddeus" shouted in a very angry deep voice. It made me push harder to break free. I know they all can smell my fear and I probably look like a wild animal. I turned to see what my chances of survival were and saw the most striking green eyes I have ever seen. the whole would stop and I couldn't breathe as I took in the owner of those beautiful eyes.

Mate Roise states before she hides in the back of my mind. He had brown hair with a tall tan body. Everything about him screams respect and fear. the atmosphere dropped 100 degrees when he started to look over my body. I see the light slowly leave his eye and is replaced with anger. His eyes shift to gold as his hands become claws.

He was more beast than man when he started walking towards me. Shaking in fear, my breathing increases. no please goddess no. Not him. Anything but him. He is supposed to save us. As he reaches us I close my eyes and try my best to shield myself from an attack. The world stops as I count the seconds that start to turn into minutes. Why was he not hitting me. Slowly, I opened my eyes to see him standing there. His eyes were no longer gold and he looked like he was in so much pain.

"Leave the trash there Alpha Jace. We have a meeting to attend and I'll make sure she is handled properly." Said Alpha Thaddeus to break the tension. Jace's eye snapped back to gold as he let out a roar that shook the ground. Anger was rolling off of him in waves and he began to half shift. I never felt so much power in my life. Fear ran through my body as I began to shake uncontrollably and breathing hard. This is it. I'm going to die as I watch his claws go up. I flinch and hide my face as the claws come down.

I hear the metal chain snap and feel the world began to fall. Before I hit the ground, I was caught in his arms. His claws dip into my skin as he pulls me closer to his chest.

"Thaddeus, you have one second to explain why my mate is chain to a pole and her back looks like she was mauled." Jace growls as he wraps his arms around my legs and cradle my head. Never has anyone held me so gently as to not hurt any of my wounds. I couldn't help but nuzzle into his chest and cry.

Before Thaddeus could come up with a lie I whispered into Jace's chest "The head of the warriors did this to me because I refused to sleep with him. Every omega gets whips for rejecting a warrior." Even though my voice is very light, everyone heard me.

Jace starts to shake in anger as he slowly walks to the front of the pack house. I can hear everyone yelling and screaming behind me.. I couldn't make out the words because of how face he was walking. We were around to the front of the Pack and his SUV was already pulled up front. Funny I thought they park in the garage during meets bt he wasted no time to opens the door to a black SUV. he gently sets me down and pulls a blanket from the seat beside me. Jace takes his time as he slowly positions me to be comfortable and safe.

Looking deep into my eyes and kiss me lightly on the forehead. "I will see you soon, little wolf." Jace lightly says as he starts to close the door.

The SUV driver wasted no time as they began to speed away from the pack house. What is he planning on doing? What is he going to think when I refuse to shift for him? Slowly, the vibrations of the car cause me to drift peacefully asleep.
