Evan's thoughts

466 Words
Evan made it back to his classroom in record time, but he couldn't focus on the history lesson being taught in front of him. He could only focus on his frien-er the kid who commited suicide. Why would he do it? Sure he didn't have the best home life, but Evan thought their friendship was enough. Evan sure did. To have someone to talk to without fear of being judged. When they would hang out were the only times Evan felt he could really let go of his worries. He thought Connor felt that way too. But he was wrong. They kept their friendship a secret because Connor was sure that his father would sever their contact if he found out and neither wanted to loose the only person keeping them sane. So they knew they could trust each other with anything. They had a really good thing going. Why would Connor throw it all away?........... Evan suddenly felt something wet him his ear jar him out of his thoughts....a wet willy. "Hey askhole. Did you hear me? I said what do you want to do for our project.", Jared Kleinman asked as he wiped his freshly earwaxed finger on his pants. "What?", Evan asked, trying to get back to reality "Fudge you didn't listen!? Even I pay attention in Clark's class. You are dumb today aren't you." Evan didn't say anything as Jared dramatically sighed and said, "Fine. We have to make a diorama of a revolution. Personally I think we should do the American Revolution because 'Merica am I right, but everyone else in class probably will pick that too so I say our back up should be the French Revolution." "Sure, whatever Jared." "Askhole. What was that thing in the office about anyway? It's got you more distracted than normal." "Um, nothing. Just lunch charges." "Then why the hell did they keep you for so long?" "Reasons." "That's not an answer. Why the hell did they keep you so long and why was noone else called down to the office if it was just lunch charges?" "I don't want to talk about it Jared. Can we focus on our project now. When is it due anyway?", Evan said with a hint of surpressed annoyance in his voice. Before Jared could say anything else Mr. Clark got everyone's attention and said, "Alright, one representative of each group can come up and write down your group's revolution. Don't forget that these are due December 1st so you have one month to complete it. That is more than enough time to complete it so don't procrastinate." Before Evan could even fully look over at Jared he was on his way to write down their revolution. It wasn't Jared's first rodeo with having Evan for a partner.
