Scarlett got out of Mike's car and left with Brian in one of the black bodyguard cars behind, while Mike drove to Slington University to pick up Scarlett.
In the car, Scarlett started calculating in her mind the distance between the hospital to Slington University as well as the distance from the hospital to Reed's house and from the Reed's house to Slington University. She needed to figure out where she should get off, and how to make it natural when she "came across" Mike. Besides, she needed to find a good reason to convince Brian to let her get off.
