“Is that so?” said Nate. He clearly disbelieved the youth. He stepped backward to the security desk.
“These clients are visiting Richard Robinson,” said Oliver. He wished to diffuse the situation. Violent protests had reigned in Portland since the arrest of Chase Mattingly, and Oliver recognized that Nate concluded that the youths represented a cadre to perhaps damage the building.
