Chapter 13

Neil's PoV

Yeah right. I am here lying on Gab's bed na bitin na bitin.

Bakit ba dumating pa yang Ethan na yan? At ganitong oras pa kung saan dapat katabi ko si Gab. Tsk.

Tumayo na ko at nagbihis. Kelangan kong makita kung sino ang Ethan na yan.

I am almost on the living room when I heard them talking seriously.

"Why the hell did you let that a**hole came here and met Sapphire?!" Mariing sabi ng kausap ni Gab. Malamang na sya yung Ethan.

"Ethan, Sapphire wants to meet him. I always told you even if it made me swallow my pride I'll do it." Sagot naman ni Gab.

That is when I realized that I didn't know any single thing about what happened to my love and my daughter for the past 5years.

I feel guilty and hurt for them.

I walk inside the living room trying not to make some noise.

Ethan saw me.

"Hi, Neil." I said then reach my hand for a handshake.

"Ethan." Tipid na sagot nito. Suplado. Tsk.

"Where is my baby?" He said looking at Gab.

"She's upstairs. Maybe sleeping now."

"I'll get going now then."

Tipid na sabi nito saka lumabas na ng bahay.

"Gab..."

"Hmm? Don't mind him. He's just protective to me and Sapphire."

"Can you tell me what happened to you for the past years? But it's ok if you're not ready yet. I'll wait ." Sincere na sabi ko.

"Yes. I'll think about it Neil. Let's sleep for now." Sagot nya na tila ba nagdadalawang isip.

Saka umakyat na patungo sa room niya.

Right. If I want to win them back I have to wait until she's ready.

I went to the guest room to rest. Good thing I always bring extras in my car.

I took shower to lessen the hotness I'm feeling right now. Then change my PJ's.

Luna's PoV

Here I am trying to sort the things that happened today.

Nakababad ako sa bathtub habang nag-iisip. Napakaraming nangyari today.

Una nastress ako sa usapan ng mag-ama.

Pangalawa, muntik na naman akong madala sa kalandian ni Neil.

Pangatlo, ang pagdating ni Ethan.

Hahayssss.. Andami kong stress.

Iniligo ko nalang lahat at nag ayos ng sarili bago pinilit makatulog.

Tomorrow is another day.

Nagising ako sa sikat ng araw sa bintana ko.

Napasarap ang tulog ko. Nag ayos na ko ng sarili ko saka bumaba sa kusina para mag almusal.

Hindi na ko nag abala pang magpalit ng damit gaya ng nakasanayan dahil wala naman akong lakad ngayon.

Pero mukhang mali pala ang desisyon ko.

Pagpasok ko ng kusina ay bumungad sakin ang ama ng anak ko na mukhang ginagahasa na naman ako ng tingin nya.
