As I walked back and forth in my small room I could feel the walls getting closer and closer around me. It was as if they were closing in on me and making the quiet whispers in my mind grow louder and harder to ignore.
My heart was beating very fast pounding against my chest like a drum and I could feel a frantic pulse racing in my throat reminding me of how vulnerable I had become in my current situation.
I put my hands on my head trying to calm the chaos of negative thoughts that were swirling around in my mind. The words “terrible Luna” “aggressor” and “unfit” echoed in my thoughts and they hurt me deeply as if they were burning me like hot metal.
