As I reached out my hand to grab the door handle feeling all set to step outside into the lively and vibrant atmosphere of the Luna Moon Festival I suddenly heard a very soft sound that made me pause.
I turned around and saw Alicia standing there and she had a big smirk on her face. It was obvious that she had been listening in on everything that had just happened in the room.
“What are you doing here Alicia?” I asked her. Even though I felt a bit nervous inside I was surprised to find that my voice sounded calm and steady when I spoke.
She folded her arms across her chest and her smile grew even bigger. “Oh I was just paying attention to the fascinating stories you are telling. Should I feel impressed by what you’re saying or is this just how you usually try to trick people?”
