Aria
There was a time when I was filled with hope and everything seemed bright and promising but then that hope was suddenly taken away from me and it was as if the light had been turned off in an instant.
Because of this I had to admit that things aren’t as simple as they may seem. I said to him “It’s not that easy.”
“Okay let’s go through this slowly taking one step at a time.” He smiled softly and kindly but there was a small glint of determination shining in his eyes that showed he really meant it.
A quiet stillness settled between the two of us but it was a kind of peaceful quiet that felt nice. As we continued our journey I had this strange feeling growing inside me like a thick fog was creeping in and surrounding my thoughts.
I couldn't help but wonder about the possibilities.
