BATTLES

Alarick When our eyes connected fear engulfed them. "It's fine Emily , I'm not mad." She seemed to relax a little. "Why do you stay here?" Her gaze fell on the floor. "I like it here more. Your house is too big." She quietly explained. "You cant just run off without me knowing where you are. I don't appreciate that. Now come. I have a surprise for you." I have a the perfect thing for her. She cant just stay here. This place is literally falling apart. She walked towards me from the other side of the bed and we walked out of the cabin together. "Tell me a little more about yourself Emily." She continued walking besides me in silence. I guess not then. I was beginning to become frustrated. How is she not just going to answer my damn question. We walked on for miles. Why does she have to live so far. Now that I think about , I have never been to this part of the forest. Probably because it's just outside of the territory. "How did you take care of yourself after all of this time?" She looked at me , then pointed to one of the tallest trees that reside in the forest. Red Woods.  She quietly shifted into her wings and flung herself elegantly into a tree. So amazing. She was so quiet about it. I awed in amazement just for a second.  She gathered multiple things and flew back down to me. Her wings didn't make one sound. It almost seemed fake, as if we were in another reality. Her wings defied every thing that made sense. She handed me everything that she had gathered , but I looked at her in confusion. I had never seen such  odd potions. Assuming if it was even that. "What are these?'' "M-Medicines and spells Alpha." She meekly replied. "You made these?"  She quickly shook her head no. "Zamora did." "Zamora made these , separate from you?" She finally nodded. "It's for me , when sick..." "I see , so Zamora has a healers abilities. Fascinating. This must be how you've taken such good care of your self. For the most part..." She was definitely going to need speech therapy and lots of consoling. Her level of speech is very low. Which is understandable because of how long she has been by herself. However , she is not at all emotionally developed. That's probably why she cries so damn much. She seems to hear something before I do, And she quickly retreats back into the tree. Suddenly, I heard a crunch in the leaves. She froze.  She just looked down at me with fear in her eyes. She motioned towards something just beyond the brush. I could sense them. It was multiple rouges. I shifted into my wolf and growled, letting them know that I was aware of their presence. He immediately lunged at me through the brush and I quickly dodged the attack. Emily They were fighting to the death. What if he dies down there?  Nah. Alarick is like 10 times bigger than that weird looking wolf. It would be sad if he died to be honest. The other wolves smell so bad. I smelled them before I heard them. The wolf tried going for Alarick's eyes, by clawing them out. Alarick, once again dodged to paw and quickly  wrapped his mouth around the dirty wolf and crushed his neck.  That was a little disturbing. Two more of the dirty looking wolves emerged from the brush. One red, and one black. Uh Oh. The red wolf lunged at Alarick with great force , but Alarick returned the favor, by quickly plunging his teeth into its neck. I watched as the wolf fell lifeless on the ground. The black wolf seemed to take his time with challenging Alarick. I believe he was thinking about how to kill him. They circled each other for a bit before the wolf took his turn at Alarick by nicking the space just below his eye. A deep rumble sounded from Alarick's chest. Alarick quickly put the match to an end as he violently severed the wolfs head off , with nothing but his teeth. This is too hard to watch. A headless wolf now laid limp in the dirt. I've never seen so many animals die in such a Violent manner. He still had blood around his mouth. It even dripped from his teeth. The huge wolf walked over to a nearby pond and began to clean the blood off of his face. When he was finally done. He looked up into the tree that I was in, and motioned me with his head to come down. What would happen if I didn't listen. He certainly couldn't do anything about it from down there. But for some odd reason, I don't find my self scared in the situation that I'm in. Not even in the slightest... I carefully flew down from the huge tree and landed by Alarick's wolf.  He towered over me , even in wolf form.  I should be scared of this animal , I should be in the highest tree , furthest from him. I don't find myself scared at all. Not one ounce of fear took over me. How was this even possible?  I was actually kind of calm in this situation. Too calm. Why is this? Is it the mate bond , that he mentioned earlier? Probably so. My hand carefully reached up to his snout and caressed the side of his face. He was so soft. He leaned his face down and gently licked my nose. I laughed and ran my fingers through his soft fur. There was still a little blood on his teeth. They seemed to just be stained with blood. Gross... He licked me.  "Alpha?" The wolf grinned a doggish smile and wagged his tail. I continued to giggle at this freakishly huge Wolf. After we were done playing , he began to lead me back to the castle. Although I kind of wanted to stay at the cabin, I was still scared of what would happen If I didn't follow this stupid dog through the forest. After seeing him kill those other wolves I probably wouldn't be able to get away from him fast enough.
