CHAPTER 1: Captive

1406 Words
Daniel Sharman as Dylan Matthews ✒✒✒ "Stop!!" I begged on my knees. The pain was unbearable, I can literally feel how some strand of my hair snapped from my scalp as he pull them from behind. My hands were tied from the back and he's pushing inside me. My tears rolled down to my cheeks like a boiling water, it was painful. My waist felt numb, my flesh seemed to crush from the inside. Oh God it hurts! I heard him groan and fasten his pace, I know he's near and I should let him do whatever he want... or else, I'm dead. My head was about to explode, my body was begging me to make this brutality stop, but I just can't. My soul was enjoying it. After a minute he finally stop, he lied flat on the bed and closed his eyes. I was left there with the blood on the sheets and sweat all over my face. It felt like I'd just got out from the crate of some active volcano. Everything were burning in pain. I traced my bruises with my fingers, and the slightest movement gives me excruciating pain. I didn't cry, not anymore. With a great effort, I managed to lie on my back. Finally, I could rest, it will take another week before the wounds heal but it's okay. At least, I saved someone today. ✒✒✒ "Breakfast is ready," I called after preparing three plates on the table. "Come on Miss Jenner, join us." Dylan ushered the lady inside our dining area. I know her, she was my classmate in my former school. "Er, so it's true. You two are living together," Jenner said, glaring sharply at me. I was kicked out from the school since the rumors that I am dating a professor started to spread. Dylan Matthews, my man. Or at least he is for me, he's still teaching in Riverpond High School. I decided to work in a convenient store after two months of staying here in Dylan's house, he agreed though and I was glad.. but there's one condition. I should find him victim every other month. We need to work to pay bills, he needs to work to buy corpse bags, disinfectant, knives, poisons, ropes, duct tapes and everything he needs for his unconventional entertainment. "So, tell us again the reason of your early visit miss Jenner," Dylan casually asked as he took a bite on his bacon. I noticed how Jenner looks at Dylan, the way she bites her lips seductively. "I'm just curious if Kiara is really your girlfriend sir, and guess I'm right," said she. I'm starting to feel the urge to stab her eyes with my fork. "She's not," Dylan answered without any hint of hesitation, feels like the fork stab me on the chest instead. But he's right, I am not his girlfriend. I am just self-proclaimed. There's no commitment between us, but he never want me to leave. He owns my life now, but I have no any rights to demand anything in return. There's only one thing I am sure of, Dylan sleeps only with me. He's very sensitive when it come to personal hygiene which is odd knowing that different types of blood already trickled on those arms. "Oh really..." Jenner stuck out a tongue at me when Dylan looked at his meal. Patience Kiara, she will die soon. I told myself. The guilt I usually felt towards Dylan's new victim wasn't there today. Maybe because somehow I would like to see this girl dead too. After eating, I goes back to my room to change for work. I jogged downstairs and heard Jenner's giggles. I caught her dragging Dylan inside the basement. I sighed exasperatedly and continued walking towards the garage. "b***h just greets her own death. What an i***t," I raised the volume of my music but still overheard the loud muffled scream of Jenner. We have no neighbors so it's fine, I stepped on the gas pedal and drove off. After half an hour of driving, I passes by the cop's station where a lot of familiar faces was pinned on the walls, each of which has labeled 'MISSING'. Shaking my head, I turned to the left where I am working. "Morning Kiara!" Melody greets as I entered the store. She is my best friend, and also the one who recommends me to work here. I told her everything that happened why I get kicked out of my school, but not that Dylan is a serial killer. Her sister was one of those faces in the station and I know Melody won't forgive me if she finds out that I am dating her sister's killer. They've already met, Dylan drives me to work sometimes. "Where's Dylan?" She asked. "He has to go to school early, you know, he's already regular there." Yes I forgot to mention, Dylan is no longer working part-time in Riverpond High School, he's already full-time. "Oh, I still fancies him though..." "Shh!" I hissed as I threw her a pack of candies which she caught instantly. "I told you not to say that!" "What? I'm just being honest," she chuckled. "Don't worry, I won't steal him from you." "Still, never say that. Especially when he's around. Do not ever look at him as if you want to strip off his clothes!" I warned. Melody burst in laughter. "You're creepy when you're jealous," then she walks towards the shelf to arrange the items, still giggling like mad. I don't want her to be Dylan's target, she's my best friend and the only person I have aside from Dylan. I have no parents, my aunt supports me on college until she found out about the rumours. She disowned me and kicked me off her house when I tried to return after two months. As usual routine, when I came home I started cooking dinner and cleaning everything that might be the cause of Dylan's anger. The fear was still there, I know anytime he wishes to kill me, he can. My life is not safe here, nor to anywhere else. I'm not sure if Dylan has feelings for me aside from fulfilling his needs as a man, I doubt if he's human cause he is literally void of any human emotions. He's just good at pretending that he has. You won't notice that there is something wrong with him. Meanwhile, I heard the door creaks open. "Good evening," I get his coat and hang it on the rack nearby. "How's your day?" "Beautiful as you are," he said with a smile, I admit that my cheeks blushed. Sometimes I forgot that he is murderer because damn, he's a one handsome bloke. We settled down for dinner and I served him with everything he needs, "Sit down Kiara, I have something for you," he commanded. Dylan is the one who chooses my dress, my shoes, my make-up, and everything. Instead of a paper bag, he hands me an envelope. "Read it." So I did. A gasp escaped my lips as soon as I finished reading. "I-I'm going back to school?" Dylan nodded with a serene smile. "I told them that you are my cousin and they believed me, I faked a documents so you can start attending your class tomorrow. You don't have to worry about those people who knows the truth, I've taken care of them already," he explained. "Y-you told them we're cousins?" Damnit! I want to yell at him and be mad because for f**k's sake, we're having s*x and you will tell them we're cousins?! "Yes, any problem?" He asked with his eyebrows furrowed. "N-nothing of course..." I just said. Arguing with him is not a very good idea so I controlled my sudden rage. I forced to swallow my food that night, at least I'm going back to school. There will be hope to have a better work and to go somewhere far someday... I'm just doubting if after all those times I spend with him, can I actually leave him? Call me mad... But I really do love him. It's not that kind of romantic love. It's weird but I have this unknown desire to stay with him. To protect him from being caught. ✒✒✒ Credits to whoever it may concern for the media above. I don't own it.
