I didn't want to listen to his lame excuse and rushed out of his charger as fast as my legs could carry me.

I didn't listen and ran as fast as I could. I managed to lose him because I couldn't hear the sound of footsteps following me.
I rushed out of the pack house and intended to go to the only place I knew would bring me ease. I had discovered my wolf and she had spoken to me.
