KATIE’s POV:
“Are you sure about this, Katie?” Jace asked, looking at me with curiosity and hesitation.
“I don’t know” I wasn’t sure at all. I can only hope luck would be on my side and this would pull off safely as I thought.
“Let’s get this over with” I stood up from my crouched position behind the fallen tree and walked slowly toward the other side, closer to the cars.
My plan was simple. I was a police officer and even though my fellow officers see me as a fugitive and criminal now and now that I realize I was no longer human but a werewolf, that doesn’t mean I have lost my touch. I knew everything about the police department and where the spare keys were kept.
That’s what I’ll use together with Jae and Derick to get out of this place and reach the pack in time.
