The notes and breakfast didn’t stop coming. I had thought it was a one and done thing, but the note had appeared outside my door the next morning but this time it came with the breakfast tray as well.
Most of the trays that contained pastries I’d never tried came with little notes attached to them. And in those notes Aesir would list the ingredients he’d used and mention how he’d found the recipe and hoped it was something I’d love.
