LEILANI I had gone out on a stroll to clear my head and was on my way back when I noticed faces I’d never seen before moving about the palace compound. I wasn’t sure who they were or what business they had in the palace, but they seemed particularly focused on whatever it was they were here for. Although the further I walked through the courtyard towards the main palace gates, the more I could pick up a few faces I recognised. Some servants I’ve spotted a few times in the palace; right now they are lifting bags—I wonder who those belonged to—still, whatever happened in this palace wasn’t necessarily my business, so I didn’t linger nor bother to ask.
